Buildings at Fresh Pond, Part II
Club Houses, Private Homes, Nursing Homes, Water Works Buildings and
Railway Stations
Using maps and other printed images, Fresh Pond Ranger Jean Rogers led
the group on a tour among the buildings that stood on the north side
of Fresh Pond during the 1800's.
On this very hot day, instead of walking to the sites where the buildings
once stood, we stayed indoors in the comfort of the Cambridge Water
Department's conference room.
This was the second of two programs offered by Jean Rogers and the Friends
of fresh Pond Reservation, in cooperation with the Historic Cambridge
Collaborative, as part of this year's Cambridge Discovery Days.
