Pussy Willow, Salix discolor
Harbingers of Spring, these Pussy Willows growing in a wet area near the unpaved path through the Lusitania Meadow are already past their "cute" stage and are producing pollen. They are male flowers. Female flowers look somewhat different and are produced on separate plants.
