Labrador or Alpine Violet, Viola labradorica
Appropriately named, this little violet growing in Suzanna's Corner appears unfazed by several nights of sub-freezing temperatures. Suzanna's Corner is a conservation project at Fresh Pond Reservation that was created and is being maintained by the Friends group.
