Stargazing at the Payson Park Reservoir
This daytime photo shows the gatehouse and two equipment buildings from the road on top of the covered Cambridge Reservoir in Belmont. This spot is above and distant from surrounding lights, and offers the best local viewing of the night sky. With the help of Astronomer Joshua Roth, we looked at Jupiter and its moons, the Pleiades, many constellations, and the Andromeda Galaxy.
