Geology of Fresh Pond
A Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation Program
We explored the natural history of Fresh Pond while walking from the glacial moraine we call Huron Avenue hillside, around the glacial kettlehole pond we call Fresh Pond, to the Maynard Ecology Center. There we looked at demonstrations illustrating the way ice and water shape the landscape.
