This event was a celebration Fresh Pond Reservation. The day featured activities all around the Reservation for participants of all ages, with games, live music, tours, demonstrations, and information tables including one for the Friends group (left photo). Free transportation to the Reservation was provided from various locations around the City. In the afternoon, volunteers set forth with garden gloves and plastic trash bags to pull Garlic Mustard, an invasive weed that is having a negative impact on the other plants where it grows. |
