"Arnold Promise" Witch Hazel, Hamamelis vernalis
The intense yellow petals of this very early spring flowering tree are a reminder to some of us winter-weary New Englanders that warmer weather is on its way. This well-known cultivar of the southern North-American native was developed at Harvard University's nearby Arnold Arboretum.
