Snapping Turtle Laying Eggs
This female Snapping Turtle attracted a large audience of curious Pond-walkers as she was digging a hole inside a fenced planting bed next to the road at Kingsley Park. She presumably laid her eggs, covered them with soil, and made her way back down to the water which was several hundred feet down the hill.
