Biodiversity Walk
A rainy day and misty evening did not deter interested people from walking
around the Pond at Fresh Pond Reservation with naturalist, author, and
eco-trip leader Peter Alden (at right in black shirt). Alden, who with
entomologist Edward Wilson created Massachusetts Biodiversity Days in
2000, challenged us to name at least 50 plants and 50 animals. We identified
and listed the plants and animals we saw as we walked.
