          Bachelor's Button, Centaurea cyanus,
          and Bumble Bee, Bombus sp.
The Lusitania Meadow was seeded with these cheerful blue flowers as
well as with pink, purple, white and maroon variants. Also nicknamed
"cornflowers" because the plant grows wild in the grain fields
of southern Europe, they attract butterflies and a variety of bees.
There are nearly 300 species of Bumblebees worldwide and I have not
tried to identify the species of this one.
