Birds of Prey at Fresh Pond
Four Friends group members, Janet Kovner (top left photo), Nancy Guppy (top right), Herb Pearce (bottom left), and Elizabeth Wylde (not pictured) gave a PowerPoint presentation to a large group of interested birders, describing raptors that might be seen at Fresh Pond Reservation. They used excellent photos shared by member Tom Murray and other photographers, mounted specimens of a Red-tailed Hawk, Screech Owl, and Kestrels(bottom right),printed handouts, and life-sized silhouettes to illustrate these exquisite flying predators.
