Tall Goldenrod, Solidago altissima
August brings the warm yellow of goldenrods to the palette of color on the Reservation. At least 8 species of Goldenrods grow there. They are listed below.

Blue-stemmed, S. casea Downy, S. puberula Early, S. juncea Lance-leaved, S. graminifolia Late, S. gigantea Rough-stemmed, S. rugosa Tall, S. altissima Silverrod, S. bicolor
