Have You Seen These People?

They are Fresh Pond Stewards, and are often found in the woods or bioswales, amid a tangle of vines and tall plants. They pull a large gray wagon full of tools to places on the Reservation where invasive weeds are threatening to overgrow the native plants. Since the summer of 2007 the Stewards have removed hundreds of bags of Garlic Mustard, Mugwort, Black Swallowwort, Burdock, Bull thistle, Bittersweet, Buckthorn, Dodder, and a host of other undesirable plants.
