The Fresh Pond Screech Owl
This photographer has a new digital camera (Canon PowerShot 720 IS) with a longer lens( 6x up from 3x), more pixels (8 megapixels up from 3), and a dream of photographing more birds. The well-known owl in its hole near fencepost # 504 seemed like a good first subject. Patient owl-watchers who keep an eye on the owl at about dusk may see it fly out of the hole for its evening of hunting.
