Fresh Mushrooms
Among the few mushrooms that were seen during a search around the Pond were these Dryad's saddle or Pheasant's Back mushrooms (Polyporus squamosus) and Dead Man's Fingers (Xylaria polymorpha.) Very dry soil conditions are not conducive to mushroom development.
