          Biodiversity Wildflower Walk
The bioswales in front of the Cambridge Water Department are manmade
wetlands designed to catch and purify water that runs off of the parking
lot before it is channeled underground to the Little River in North
Cambridge. These bioswales support a wide diversity of native and nonnative
wildflowers that we inventoried as part of the Friends of Fresh Pond
          Reservation's Biodiversity Days celebration.
Participants enjoyed a beautiful June day in this lovely habitat.
