Kingsley Park Bioswale
The path around the base of Kingsley Park hillside passes by this bioswale at the base of the sledding hillside. The bioswale has an abundance of common milkweed, cattails, native grasses, goldenrods, and other wildflowers. Members of Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation and other volunteers this year have been removing invasive weeds including burdock, mugwort, bull thistle, pokeweed and bittersweet nightshade.
