Insects that Fly at Night Twelve adults, including two Neville Place residents, remembered the joy of catching insects in jars during this evening Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation program. Leaders Tom Murray and Susan Coolidge (far left and far right in left photo) began the program by describing insect and moth anatomy, then identified the insects we caught. Strong lanterns attracted the insects, many of which landed on white sheets that were hung nearby. In the photo on the right a Straw Besma Moth, Besma endropiaria, awaits release from a jar.
