Autumn Treasures: Nuts, Seeds, and Fruit
Participants in this program learned how flowering plants produce fruit containing seeds. Outside, they found a variety of fruit and determined how their seeds were distributed. The three photos show: seeds carried by wind, fruit whose seeds will pass through the digestive tract of an animal, and seeds that can stick to an animal or person.
