Yellow Iris, Iris pseudoacorus
Another beautiful invasive plant, this iris grows earlier and taller than the native Blue Flag Irises (I. versicolor and I. prismatica). When it is removed from the pond shores where it grows, the natives are able to reestablish themselves.
