Coir fascine
This is one of the cocoanut fiber "logs" that will be used to stabilize the shoreline of Little Fresh Pond. After being placed at the water line, the coir fascines will have plugs of emergent water plants transplanted into their upper surface. The fibers will act as an anchor and a growth medium.
