A Sedge, Carex lurida
The grasslike plants ("graminoids") include three families:
Grasses, Sedges, and Rushes. Identification of most of them is a challenge,
but sedges are easy to recognize because their stems are triangular.
This little rhyme can help you remember; " Sedges have edges and
rushes are round, and grasses have nodes from their tips to the ground."
This plant is growing in the Cambridge Water Department bioswale.
