Coralberry, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus
This small, inconspicuous shrub was found growing near the path in back
of Kingsley Park. Coralberries, also known as Indian Currents, are native
to Pennsylvania and farther south, but have spread from cultivation
in New England. The densely clustered berries are an intense metallic
magenta color. This plant is a member of the Honeysuckle Family.
