Two Lobelias
Cardinal Flower, Lobelia cardinalis, and Great Lobelia, Lobelia siphilitica
The characteristic three-lobed lower lip of these flowers reveal their relationship as Lobelias. These plants are growing on the golf course near Black's Nook, among a stand of White Boneset, pink Joe-Pye Weed, and Purple Loosestrife.
