"Canceled" Birdwalk
A steady rain an hour before the scheduled start of the birdwalk convinced us that we should cancel the walk. Having done so, we observed that the rain immediately stopped. We went to the meeting place at Neville just in case anyone showed up and, to our surprise, seven people had come to look at birds. Thus we saw 28 species during the "canceled" program (and we did not get rained on!)
