Wildflower Identification: Goldenrods and Asters
Participants in this workshop learned that these colorful fall wildflowers all belong to the Aster or Composite family, which includes an enormous number of plant species. After examining specimens indoors, the group used charts and keys to identify goldenrods and asters growing on the hillside in back of Neville Place.
