Nodding Bur Marigold (Bidens ceruna)
Bur Marigolds are plants that like to grow in wet places, and this one was growing in the mud near the shore of Black's Nook. Plans have been made to restore the shoreline of the Nook, perhaps making it possible for other attractive wetland natives to grow.
