Old Meadow Area
One view of the meadow near Black's Nook. On the left is a young Black
Walnut tree (Juglans nigra), in the distance a Black Willow tree
(Salix nigra) on the golf course, and on the right Shadbushes
(Amelanchier Canadensis). What has been a meadow for many years
is filling up with trees, mostly Glossy Buckthorns (Frangula alnus)
an invasive introduced species).
