What the Rain Brought
Several days of rain have stimulated numerous mushrooms to sprout on the wood-chip piles at Lusitania Field. The large one in the middle is about 8 inches across. On Saturday, October 15, Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation will have a mushroom identification program led by Lawrence Millman.
