Second "Flowering"
Heart-leaved Aster, Aster cordifolius
The seedheads of Asters, Goldenrods, and other Composite flowers such as Dandelions appear as round white puffs. When the seeds are mature, a brisk breeze will carry them away, perhaps to a desirable place to grow.
