Yellow Flag Iris, Iris pseudoacorus
Beautiful and invasive: These water-loving iris originated in Asia and were brought to the Americas as ornamentals. Having escaped from cultivation, they now threaten to wipe out the native blue iris, Larger Blue Flag (Iris versicolor) and Slender Blue Flag (I. prismatica.)
