This bracket is designed to hold a small camera so that pictures can be taken in 8 directions, giving a 360 degree photographic record of the landscape at that moment. The plan is to ask people who visit the Reservation with digital cameras to take 8 photos from this post at Black's Nook, and another set at the Weir Meadow, and submit them electronically to a database where they will be stored. Over time these photos will show changes in the environment, and can be made into a movie so that the process of change can be observed.
