Two Vibirnums:
Highbush Cranberry and Nannyberry
Vibirnum trilobum and V. lentago

Vibirnums are attractive native shrubs with high wildlife value. The berries, which ripen in late summer, are eaten by birds and other animals. Other vibirnums at Fresh Pond Reservation are Wild Raisin (V. cassinoides), Arrowwood ( V. recognitum), and Maple-leaved Vibirnum (V. acerifolium).
