There are four birds' nests near the top of this small maple tree
that is growing on the golf course near Blacks Nook. During
the summer they were invisible among the leaves. Given their
size, shape and placement, these may be robins' nests. One
that is falling apart may be several years old. Robins do not
reuse their nests, but because they are well constructed with
woven grasses and mud, they may persist for a number of years.
