White Wood Aster, (Eurybia divaricata)
The white flowers of this plant seem to glow in the shade of the trees on Huron Avenue Hillside. The Aster family has some 1150 genera worldwide, and a huge number of species. Most bloom in August, and many, including these White Wood Asters, are native to North America.
